Your weekly lesson time is reserved, therefore, if a student misses or cancels a lesson on the same day as scheduled, we are unable to reschedule or provide a credit, under any circumstances.
However, with at least a 24-hour notice provided to the Studio Director (not to the teacher), alternate times may be offered, if available - but only during the same week as the lesson to be missed. Please know this accommodation is not guaranteed.
In the event that a teacher is absent, a substitute will fill in or a makeup lesson will be scheduled, however, we are unable to provide credits.
We require a one-month written notice to be provided to the Studio Director in advance of stopping lessons.
Tuition will be charged for this period, regardless of whether the student attends the notice period lessons. This provides a transition period for student and teacher.
Upon request, with at least a two-week notice provided to the Studio Director, we can schedule a make-up lesson for your vacation, for up to two weeks from September-June, and two additional weeks in the summer.
We are unable to credit for lessons missed due to vacations.
Tuition is charged on the 1st of each month, for the month ahead, utilizing the credit card on file. The tuition amount will be the same each month (closed dates are already deducted from the tuition schedule and tuition is averaged over a 6-month period).
There is a $10. late fee if tuition is not received by the 1st of the month. Please note, our closed dates and snow days, if any, are not in accordance with any school schedules. We will email periodic closed dates for each billing cycle.
